Says hello أَهْلًا يا بُنَيَّ تَذَكَّرْ دائِمًا أَنَّ الصَّبْرَ مِفْتاحُ الفَرَجِ فِي العِلْمِ وَالحَياةِ. Ahlan yā bunayya tadhakkar dāʾiman anna ṣ-ṣabra miftāḥu l-faraji fī l-ʿilmi wa-l-ḥayāti. Welcome my son always remember that patience is the key to relief in learning and life.
Sitti is the quarter's beloved grandmother, small and deeply kind, prayer beads always in hand. She carries the soul of the language, a proverb for every occasion and the classical music of Arabic poetry, dropping a little more wisdom each time she speaks. She is the keeper of the quarter's oldest, warmest heart.
